The City of El Paso has partnered with Walmart & eTrueNorth to provide COVID-19 testing locations across the El Paso area.
Testing starts May 8 from 7 am - 9 pm in the parking lots of the following Walmart locations:
East: 1850 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas, 79936
Northeast: 4530 Woodrow Bean, El Paso, Tx 79924
West: 7555 N. Mesa, El Paso,Texas, 79936
Those interested in being tested need to visit www.DoINeedaCOVID19test.com or call 1-800-635-8611 to determine if you are eligible for testing and to make an appointment.
Those being tested need to wear a mask, stay in their cars for verification of eligibility criteria, ID Check & self-administer test under supervision. Testing will not be available for those who walk up.
Mobile Test Sites in Rural Communities
The Office of Emergency Management has been working with the Texas Department of Emergency Management to provide additional testing sites for the County’s rural communities.
Testing will be available from 9 am to 6 pm on the following dates and locations:
- El Paso County ESD #2 District Office; 16001 Socorro Road, Fabens, Texas
- West Valley Fire Department; 510 Vinton Road, Anthony, Texas
- Horizon First Baptist Church; 17018 Darrington Road, Horizon City
- Emergency Service District #2; 11440 N. Loop Drive, Socorro
- Horizon First Baptist Church; 17018 Darrington Road, Horizon City, Texas
Please make an appointment 24 hours prior to the testing date either online at TXCOVIDTEST.ORG or by calling 512-883-2400. Testing is open to all regardless of location of residence.
If residents do not call or register for an appointment, they can still show up at the site and will be instructed to either register on their phone or call the number to schedule accordingly.
The goal is to test 60 individuals per site; however, additional testing may be available depending on demand and availability.
EMERGENCY FOOD IS AVAILABLE NOW:
Food is available for pickup or drive through at the Mega Distribution Centers. It is open to all in need. For information on the center closest to you, call (915) 298-0353.

Services are given priority to those who are vulnerable, people who are quarantined due to COVID-19 or waiting diagnosis, elderly & disabled with mobility problems and in need of home delivery. Click on flyer at right for further information.

COUNTY SENIOR CITIZEN NUTRITION PROGRAM
Currently registered County Nutrition Program participants continue to pick up their meals at the centers they are registered at, but for new applicants needing home delivery service you must call (915) 546-8167. You will be interviewed to see if you qualify.
Persons unable to independently board a regular bus or have a disability that prevents them from boarding are eligible but must first qualify.
You must call and ask for an application for the Sun Metro Lift at (915)-212-3004.
When you call and feel that you will need assistance filling out the application, please request assistance by requesting a phone interview.
Once you qualify, to schedule your appointments call (915) 212-0100 a day before your appointment.
